Founder & Inventor of EqueStride™
Andrew Daly
BDes MA RCA IC
Andrew Daly is the inventor of the EqueStride™ System for the rehabilitation of flexor tendon and suspensory ligament injury in horses. He is a professional Design Engineer who has had a lifelong involvement in the horse industry in Ireland both in the breeding and riding of Showjumping horses. He had always been acutely aware of the tendon and suspensory ligament injury problem that has historically plagued the equine industry.
Daly had previously worked as a Design Engineer for major companies such as Nokia Mobile Phones and in the Formula One motor racing industry. In 1997 he formed a Company to bring to market another of his inventions, the Aircooled tendon Boot range under the Dalmar brand. Over the following 10 year period Dalmar grew to become one of the leading preventative boot brand and the business was subsequently taken over by Horseware in 2010. Since that time Daly has concentrated on the rehabilitation of tendon injuries in horses using the EqueStride™ Tendon Injury Rehabilitation System. Since its inception, approximately 1000 horses have been treated with EqueStride™.

Head Veterinary Surgeon
Gloria Apati-Nagy
DVM,MRCVS
Gloria is our Head Veterinary Surgeon at EqueStride™ Injury Management. She grew up around horses as she started to ride when she was only 2 years old. She was a successful show jumper before starting university.
She graduated from veterinary school in Budapest in 2016, then moved to the UK. Gloria completed an internship at Rossdales Equine Hospital in Newmarket, where her main focus was diagnostic imaging. Over the next eight years, Gloria worked in busy equine clinics across the UK, treating horses across all disciplines — from happy hackers to elite racehorses.
In 2018, she was introduced to EqueStride™ for the first time while treating a horse with a severe tendon injury. The results were so transformative that it reshaped her entire approach on soft tissue injury treatment and rehabilitation. After successfully using EqueStride™ on multiple other cases, she built a strong working relationship with Andrew, the founder of EqueStride™ and joined the company in 2023.
Gloria now oversees all clinical cases using the EqueStride™ Support System. She provides expert guidance to horse owners and veterinary teams, creating tailored rehabilitation protocols for each horse. As our research lead, she also documents and publishes vital data to advance the field of equine medicine.
With a strong interest in technology and engineering, Gloria also supervises our manufacturing process and manages our social media presence, ensuring everything we do is both scientifically sound and widely accessible.
